/ in too deep / swept from shore to sea into an impervious vastness sprayed with distant foams from sea pasts, and twisted by the tantalizing torrents of something bigger, than i, and you, shoreside i watch while sinking slowly to the depths of an airless abyss of resonant silence deafening me patiently poised below on the branch of a forever tree, where i saw there a translucent radiance shoot brilliantly colored spears piercing, then escaping the deep through fissures in lonely clouds then back, again stabbing into my watery soul immersed without reason, submerged into a lighted darkness where i'm blinded by a feeling i then surface to the commotion of uncontrollable crests, from unfathomable depths of dream time marred by my own fearlessness floating, too, in my mind's ocean only to have my intended eloquence crash to the shores of my tongue, and be washed away my shallow breath and voice torn from the air, swirling into enigmatic declarations of persistent admiration that, carried by a salty wind go unheard, unseen threads of emotion pulled singularly until i, too, am the sea spanning infinite shores, i liquidly kiss the earth onto which i'm thrown you've gone, now i'm seeping through the sand that i might feel you again
